365 days of origami

Final thought
I would also like to announce that I now despise origami, and paper in general, and have officially vowed never to do origami again.
Furthermore, as this blog is due mainly to a certain friend who gave me the calendar, I decided the give her back all the origami I did, for Christmas. She is going to keep it, bless her. All i want to do it burn it.
So is there anything that I can remember how to do? to test this I grabbed a piece of paper and this is what I folded:
Yes ladies and gentleman, after a year's worth of toil, the only thing I can fold is still the boat that I have been folding since I was 8 years old.
Mission failed.
My christmas present this year was a calendar where you have to do Kirigami for an entire year. She managed to get around the "Im never doing origami again" by making me do Kirigami. Im not sure Im that dedicated.
And with this post I end this blog.
WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO
Friday, December 31st - The dove
To end the year, a nice easy one. Hurray! I am never doing origami again. At least nothing out of my comfort zone....

Wednesday, December 29th and Thursday December 30th - The barrel cactus
This was a pain in the neck. The first instruction was to follow the rest of the instructions carefully. That doomed me to failure right there. So i tried. Boy there was a lot of folding involved. It just kept on going and going. The result? Definitely not a cactus

Tuesday, December 28th - The penguin
My penguin is a little long. IM not sure why. It looks like its swimming through the water. Very aerodynamic
Monday, December 27th - The crane container
This one took me a while because I forgot to read one of the instructions. Once id read the instruction I was ok and it looks like a crane in a container...
Saturday, December 25th and Sunday December 26th - The 3-dimensional star
I followed the instructions. It doesn’t look like the picture. I must have gone wrong somewhere but I cant figure out where.
