The baboon looks absolutely nothing like a baboon. Evem the diagram doesnt look much like a baboon. It was quite a difficult one as well. A lot of effort for nothing particularly impressive.

Friday, September 24th, Saturday September 25th and Sunday September 26th - The bird
The bird started off ok. Then it started getting a little more complicated. The tail is supposed to be a twist in the paper, but when you do the next few folds it ends up untwisting. That was frustrating.
Then step 14 involved using the shaft from a toilet paper dispenser. I saw this instruction and decided my origami looked enough like a bird to stop there and then. Im not about to go take apart my toilet paper dispenser to fold a paper bird.

Monday, September 13th - Dragon fly mystery
I enjoyed the folding today. It was relatively simple. There was an element of risk today though in that i had to cut straight through the middle to get the end result. Not necessarily a good idea when the person doing the cutting is not good with scissors/cant judge where the middle is/cant cut straight.
I turned out ok in the end. Fluke.

Tuesday, September 7th - The red fox
The red fox was designed by an 11 year old. As such the instructions were rubbish. In fact one entire and very crucial instruction was completely missing. the instruction that was missing was "repeat on the other side", meaning that for a while i sat there wondering what on earth this kid did to make her paper look the way it did.
Then when the red fox was actually done, it didnt actually look like a fox!

Wednesday, September 1st and Thursday, September 2nd - Croak on the croc
This origami was a midweek two parter, and you can tell were in the second half of the year because it required many different skills. I obviously failed, mainly because it involved scissors and fiddly folding. I failed so badly that Ill have to talk you through the picture. The crocodiles head and snout are on the right. The little frog sitting on the crocodiles back is the sticky out thing on the left
