For some reason my halloween cat doesnt have ears. I think i missed a step somewhere

Wednesday, October 27th - The weiner dog

I can see the relationship between the weiner dog and halloween. By weiner dog i think what my american origami calendar means is the hideous sausage dog, in which case it is definitely a halloween dog because it looks horrible and disgusting.
Mine is rubbish anyway, the instructions were indecipherable

Tuesday, October 26th - The fun pumpkin

This was pretty easy to make and actually looks like a fun pumpkin. again though its paper so its not as good.

Monday, October 25th - The trojan hat

Im not sure what a trojan hat has to do with halloween. What I also found strange was that about three steps before the end it already looked like the finished product so i stopped there so i couldnt ruin it.

Thursday, October 21st, Friday, October 22nd, Saturday, October 23rd and Sunday October 24th - The jack-o-lantern

This origami activity was four days long. I did it in 2 because i didnt do the weekend activity which was to make lots of jack-o-lanterns and make a wreath. Since I dont really do halloween decorations I couldnt be bothered. Mine doesnt look very scary anyway. if i was going to make jack-o-lanters, id buy pumpkins. way more fun

Wednesday, october 20th - Ghostly!

Here comes the halloween theme! Ghostly doesnt really look very ghostly, not even in the pictures. I hope the rest of the halloween theme stuff is better.

Tuesday, October 19th - The soaring plane

I think I folded the plane slightly wonky. It soars for about two seconds, then plummets to the ground......

Monday, October 18th - The cabbage rose

I didnt know that cabbage roses existed before today. my origami doesnt look much like a cabbage rose anyway.. I wasnt very good at the curling thing

Friday, October 15th, Saturday october 16th and Sunday october 17th - The retractable periscope

My retractable periscope doesnt actually retract. I dont know whether its supposed to or not.

Thursday, October 14th - The cat trick

This was quite clever. It involved cutting specific bits out of a square base, then unfolding it to reveal a cat. The cat in the picture they provided is friendly. My cat is evil. Especially since its halloween orange and has teeny tiny eyes...

Wednesday, October 13th - The colourful feather

I like it when its nice and easy. I enjoyed making it, mainly because it was easy. It doesnt look much like a feather though....

Tuesday, October 12th - Batty

I dont get batty. I couldnt do it. Step five involved doing some crazy folds that didnt work. I think part of the problem was staring down a microscope all day. It does funny things to my brain.

Monday, October 11th - The tiny mouse

I dont think i own string, so I wasnt able to give my mouse a tail.
I also dont think it is tiny, since it is bigger than most mice I have seen. Ill acknowledge that it probably weighs less, since it is made of paper, but thats about it. Also it is orange.

Saturday, October 9th and Sunday October 10th - The lighthouse

I dont like origami where the paper isnt the size of the paper that they give you. I had to rip the paper in half to do this.

Friday, October 8th - The support ribbon

I didnt like the origami support ribbon because you can make one that looks a lot less tacky with a real ribbon and a safety pin.

Thursday, October 7th - The scary teeth gnasher

The teeth didnt come out for me, so the scary teeth didnt really work in my case....

Wednesday, October 6th - The bug-eyed bee

This is kind of cool but it was really fiddly to make. And the eyes arent really buggy in mine....

The tulip doesnt kind of looks like a tulip, but not really. I dont like tulips that much

Finally! An example of why scissors are a bad idea. After much folding im asked to cut through the middle. What happened was that the fingers were in one half and the palm in the other. Im pretty sure the fingers were supposed to be attached to the palm...
