For something that looks suspiciously like a fish base, the bird base was incredibly hard to do.
One of the reasons i think may be that I was using the instructions form yesterday that id accidently folded to start with, so there were the remains of the folds from yesterdays mistake.
That made it a lot more complicated, but it shouldnt have been that hard.
I worked out in the end that I wasnt able to do it because Im an idiot. Simple as that.
For future reference, flatten really does mean flatten.
